Swiss pellet price down by 6%

In April, wood pellets cost on average CHF 445.7/t (€458/t) in Switzerland. Month on month (March 2024: CHF 472.8 or €485.9/t), the price has fallen by 6%.

In April, buyers pay CHF 462.9/t (€475.7/t) for 3 tonnes of wood pellets, and CHF 412.8/t (€424.2/t) for a purchase quantity of 17 tonnes. In April 2023, wood pellets cost on average CHF 516.6/t (€530.9/t), i.e. 16% more than in the same month of this year. Prices are according to pelletpreis.ch based on information provided by 26 suppliers.
