€332/t for pellets in Germany

On November 3, wood pellets cost an average of €331.7/t in Germany. The price thus fell by 4.9% compared to the same period of the previous month and by 47.1% compared to last year (November 3, 2022: €399/t). Three years ago, in the first year of the coronavirus pandemic, the pellet price was at €358.4/t in Germany.

Prices range from €319.1/t in Bavaria to €345.6/t in Bremen. In Baden-Württemberg, buyers pay €320.5/t, while pellets cost €320.9/t in Thuringia, €328/t in Saxony-Anhalt and €328.1/t in Hesse.

According to heizpellets.de, the €340/t-mark was exceeded in the Saarland as well (€341.3/t). In six federal states, i.e. in Berlin, Brandenburg, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Schleswig-Holstein and Rhineland-Palatinate, the pellet price is €2/t above average at most.
