German Pellets to resume production

According to various media reports, the insolvent German Pellets plant in Wismar is to restart its production today. The committee of creditors agreed to a continuation of production as long as no further losses are generated. This way, they believe to keep potential buyers interested, as Bettina Schmudde reportedly explained.

It seems that over 100 potential buyers have already expressed interest, amongst them financial investors and industrial corporations. The receivership's goal is to find a comprehensive solution for the business group.
