The number of construction permits for single-family homes fell by 31% to 14,300 units. Meanwhile, 5,500 permits (-31%) were issued for the construction of two-family homes. As for multi-family homes, there has been a 25% decrease, which brings the number of permits down to 37,200. An increase has been recorded in the number of building permits for residential buildings (+24% to 2,100).
