Last year, a total of 2,088 prefabricated houses were sold in Austria. This corresponds to an increase of 16.5% compared to 2023. At the same time, sales realizations of manufacturers grew by 17% to around €664 million.

In the past four years, the average price of a turnkey prefabricated house increased by around 30%. Nevertheless, it remained well below the cost of a traditionally built house, as the market research institute branchenradar.com reports in a market analysis.
