The regional government of the Russian Perm region announced last week that the Swiss Krono Group, Lucerne, has signed an investment agreement for the construction of an OSB plant in Krasnokamsk/RU to be completed within two years, ost.info reports. There are plans to install two production lines with an anual capacity of 462,000 and 561,000 m³, respectively. The investment sum will be up to RUB 8.5 billion (€ 200 million), the report reveals. Krasnokamsk will be the group's second location in Russia: In Sharya, a total 537,200 m³ of particleboards was produced last year, according whatwood.ru.
