Approval obtained for multi-million-dollar-investment

West Fraser has been operating an OSB mill in northern Minnesota/US since 1981. Now, the company wants to invest US-$137 million (€122 million) in the extensive modernization of the site.

Most of the machines at the mill have been in operation for more than four decades. The investment is aimed primarily at enhancing the site’s energy efficiency and reducing its environmental impact. Just a few days ago, the Canadian timber group obtained the official approval from Beltrami County.
