In September, the HPE price index for solid wood for pallets was at 394.8 percentage points (-4%), falling below the 400 point mark again. Year on year, the index value soared by 142%.
The index for solid wood for packaging fell by 5% to 281.8 points compared to August, but rose by 111% compared to the value recorded in September last year.
With 282.9 points, the price of plywood for packaging was down by 1.7% month on month. Compared to September 2020, the index value increased by 143%.
The price index for OSB for packaging recorded the biggest yearly increase again: +223% to 241.2 percentage points. Compared to August, the index fell by 4.8% in September.
