In April, the price index for solid wood for pallets is at 358.9%. Compared to the previous month, the index value rose by 1.6 percentage points. One year ago, in April 2023, the index value was at 332%. The price index for solid wood for packaging increased by 2.9 percentage points compared to March and reached 201.4% in April. Year on year, the index value decreased by 18.1 percentage points.
When it comes to plywood for packaging, a slight month-on-month decrease of 0.9 percentage points was recorded, which brings the purchase price index of this product to 188.7% in April 2024. In the same month of last year, the index value was at 223.1%. As for OSB for packaging, an index value of 91% was reported for the month of April, which corresponds to an increase of 3.2 percentage points compared to March. In April 2023, this purchase price index was at 119.2%.
