In Ufa in Russia, Kronospan owns a 65 metre press for panels which, according to the company, is the biggest press for OSB in the world. Recently, the first OSB panel left the press. With an annual capacity of 1 million m³, the plant can produce OSB panels in four different formats. Kronospan’s goal is to satisfy the construction sector’s increasing demand for this type of board.
The production site was inaugurated in 2013 and can produce up to 1 million m³.
Thanks to the new OSB plant, production capacity nearly doubled.
