Andrej Kobjakow, the Prime Minister of Belarus, stated at a meeting with Kronospan owner Peter Kaindl in Minsk/BY that Belarus is interested in new collaborative projects with the Kronospan Holding, according to deu.belta.by. Kronospan has been contributing significantly to the Byelorussian economy's development, as the report states. Between 2012 and 2016, more than 870 million were invested in the Byelorussian timber industry. The government wants the Austrian Holding to expand its presence in Belarus and welcomes the partner's investment plans, as the head of government emphasized.
