For several years now, Minda and Howial have been carrying out joint glued timber projects, with Minda supplying the mechanization and press technology and Howial providing the finger-jointing machines. In 2022, the two companies signed an agreement which enabled collaboration at the operational level in the areas of sales, development, procurement, production, and control technology.
In the near future, Howial’s extensive portfolio of compact machines and synchronization centers will be expanded to include joint developments in the higher performance range in order to serve all customers who manufacture timber construction products on an industrial scale, as Minda states on its website.
“I’m looking forward to continuing this fruitful collaboration and jointly implementing our numerous innovative ideas. When technology and the companies’ focus are a good fit, and when the two entrepreneurs are in harmony, a joint path towards the future is a logical consequence,” Robert Falch, Managing Partner of the Minda Group, emphasized after signing the contract.
