According to Madison’s Lumber Reporter, 2-by-4 softwood lumber (Western SPF, KD, #2&better) cost US-$384/1,000 bft at the beginning of June. Compared to the end of May, there were no changes in the US dollar price.
For European suppliers, the currency exchange rate resulted in a slight increase of €2/m³ to €231/m³ (actual size, delivered to Great Lakes region). One year ago, the price was around €14/m³ lower.
