As the Governor of Alabama, Kay Ivey, announced yesterday, Two Rivers Lumber will build another SYP sawmill in Alabama. The company, which is based in Demopolis, wants to invest US-$115 million in a state-of-the-art sawmill in Coosa County by 2025, thereby creating 130 new jobs. At its headquarters in Demopolis, Two Rivers Lumber has been operating a sawmill with a capacity of 200 million bft (around 230,000 m³/yr of 2-by-4 equivalents) since 2017.
