Russian timber group with a 15% increase in sales

In 2024, the vertically integrated timber group generated revenues of RUB 101.9 billion (€1.1 billion), recording a 15% increase compared to 2023. EBITDA amounted to RUB 10 billion (€109.4 million), up by 8% year on year. Segezha Group had liabilities of RUB 147.9 billion (€1.6 billion). The company’s capital expenditures decreased by 7% to RUB 7.2 billion (€78.8 million) last year.

In 2024, Segezha Group produced 2.3 million m³ of lumber, i.e. 10% more than in the previous year. Increases were also recorded in the production of paper (+12% to 360,000 t) and birch plywood (+6% to 183,000 m³).

Segezha states that it diversified its sales structures last year. In 2023, 89% of sales were generated in China and 7% in the MENA region. Last year, China accounted for only 77% of foreign sales. A doubling was recorded in the MENA region as well as on the domestic market, which recently accounted for 4% of total sales.
