Slight increase for US prices

Last week, the US market reported further recovery for 2-by-4 softwood lumber prices.

The assortment is now sold for US-$445/1000 bft in the eastern United States which is US-$5 more than in the previous week. The price gained US-$20 over the past four weeks.

At an exchange rate of US-$1.1/€, European suppliers receive €261/m³ free East Coast. With this, the price level again ranges significantly above the €200/m³ mark ex German works.
