More softwood lumber exported

Between January and June, Russian exports increased by almost 0.9 million m³ (+6.4%) compared to the previous year.

With an export volume of 9.7 million m³, China ranks first. Compared to the previous year, this is a gain of 14.9%.

Despite a decline of 15%, Uzbekistan still comes in second with a total volume of 1.08 million ³ (2018: 1.27 million m³) between Russia's lumber customers. 

The growth rate for Egypt roughly amounts to 100,000 (total: 621,000 m³) compared to the 2018 (515,000 m³). This is a plus of 20.5%.
