Södra initiates cooperation with timber trading company

Swedish wood products group Södra Timber has teamed up with Bois du Nord, a French company specializing in import and export of wood products. Bois du Nord will mainly obtain spruce timber and impregnated pine from Sweden which will be stored in the Rochefort terminal.

"France is an interesting market for us. 300,000 homes are built there every year. With a warehouse in Rochefort we can improve our logistics and our competitiveness on the French market", says Hakan Svensson, President of Södra Timber.
