Purchases of standing timber support softwood log prices ahead of upcoming contract negotiations for H2
In May and June, there will be numerous negotiations about follow-up contracts for softwood logs in northern Germany. The existing agreements are valid until the end of June, but many have already been fulfilled early. Therefore, many contracts concluded in April have terms lasting until the end of October or, in the case of some forestry companies, even until the end of the year.
