According to China Customs Statistics, deliveries from New Zealand remained nearly stable at 10.7 million m³ (+1%), while imports from Japan (1.1 million m³; +23%), Canada (712,000 m³; +16%), Latvia (289,000 m³; +69%), and Denmark (107,000 m³; +13%) increased substantially. Meanwhile, double-digit decreases were recorded in softwood log imports from Germany (278,000 m³; -59%) Poland (259,000 m³; -53%), the US (136,000 m³; -82%), South Africa (159,000 m³; -29%), and Australia (268,000 m³; -11%).
