Further increase in log prices

Log price trend in April 2025

In April, log prices rose by a further €1/m³ in Baden-Württemberg and by €2/m³ in Austria, while the Holzkurier’s survey shows stable prices in Bavaria.

As a result, prices range from €110 to €117/m³ in southern Germany and Austria. In northern Germany, prices for spruce logs were around €5/m³ higher. There, the Holzkurier identified a price level of €115 to €120/m³ (see article Spruce log prices ranging from €115 to €120/m³ in the north).
