According to the Slovenian Statistics Office, this decrease in value is first and foremost due to the lower volume of wood bought in addition. The value of sold roundwood and veneer logs lost around 20%, that of pulpwood 16% and the value of other industrial roundwood dropped 4%. The value of wood fuels, on the other hand, was almost 20% higher.
Compared to July 2017, the value dropped 16% which is only due to the lower volumes. The value of saw and veneer logs, however, exceeded last year's July value by 26%.
