The Austrian sawdust price index jumped from 484% in June to 578% in July 2023. Year on year, the index value increased by 22 percentage points.
The price index of wood chips, on the other hand, has remained more or less unchanged, rising by only 1 percentage point month on month to 253%. Compared to July 2022, it fell by 14 percentage points.
