In Germany, the neutral pellet price is at €299/t in June. In May, pellets cost €272.1/t (+10%) and in June last year, buyers paid €151.6/t (+97%).
In Austria, the pellet price rose from €266.7/t in May to €275.4/t in June. Compared to June 2021 (€165.9/t), an increase of 66% was recorded.
In Switzerland, the pellet price passed the €300-mark, reaching €303.7/t in June. Buyers currently pay 2% more than in May and 56% more than in June 2021. The ten-year average price, which is less affected by currency fluctuations, has risen by around €6/t month on month and is at €278.8/t.
