Last year, heater sales grew by around 10% which is why pellet consumption reached about 332,000 tons. According to proPellets.ch, this is an increase of 9% compared to 2018
Sales of Swiss pellets reached a new record level: 77% or 257,000 tons of pellets are produced in Switzerland which is 6% more than in 2018.
10% are produced in Germany, 6% each in Austria and France and 1% are produced in other countries.
