Pellets prices increased slightly in March

The neutralized pellets prices (excluding VAT, transportation and handling fees) showed in all three countries of the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) slight increases in March compared to February.

In Austria, the neutralized price for pellets is €181/t (+0.5%; February: €180.1/t). In Germany, pellets are sold for €175.4/t (+0.9%; February: €173.9/t), and in Switzerland for €211.7/t (+1%; February: €209.5/t).

Compared to the same period last year, Austria saw a price increase of 0.6% and Germany of 0.7%. Switzerland, on the other hand, suffered losses year-on-year with -8.6% compared to 2017 (€231.6/t). The 10 year average rate for Switzerland is €195/t showing an upward trend.
