37.5% of Germany's net electricity generation from renewable energies

In 2017 so far, a total of 404.8 TWh have been produced, 253.23 TWh of which come from conventional production. With 16.4% (66.59 TWh) of the net electricity generation, wind power represents the largest share of renewable energies, followed by power generation from solar power systems (8.7% or 35.38 TWh), biomass plants (8.5%) and hydroelectric installations (3.8%).
