Stora Enso increased equity at its Chinese subsidiary Stora Enso Packaging Inpac. The cash input amounts to € 46 million. The transaction is subject to approval by the Chinese authorities with completion scheduled for the first quarter.
The investment is intended to boost the group's business on the Chinese market. Stora Enso Inpac produces fiber-based packaging and has several locations in China. The investment will have no impact on the operating result, according to Stora Enso.
