The plant’s planing capacity exceeds 200 million bft. a year (around 470,000 m³/year). Southern Yellow Pine will be the main raw material used to produce lumber. Binderholz plans to hire 120 employees by 2024. Hiring is currently underway, as the online platform Halifax Development reports. After the acquisition from Klausner Lumber in January 2021, Binderholz modernized the sawmill, which posed some challenges because the site had never been put into operation by Klausner.
