Much bigger volumes were purchased from the USA (+59% to 216,000 m³), Latvia (+19% to 292,000 m³) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (+42% to 78,000 m³). For the first time, 111,000 m³ were imported from Ireland.

Meanwhile, decreases were recorded in shipments from Australia (-9% to 222,000 m³), South Africa (-51% to 64,000 m³) and Denmark (-46% to 50,000 m³). Cumulative softwood log imports from the category “Other countries” decreased substantially by 74% to 179,000 m³.
