In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Austrian spruce/fir sawlog price index stood at 177.6%. Compared to the previous quarter, the index gained 14 percentage points. Year on year, the sawlog price index increased by 27.7%.
A look at the Datacube shows that the index has now also exceeded the previous record value of 174% that was reached in April 2022.
