Green Alliance acquired pellet trader Bioenergy Europe

Already in early June, Italian fuel trading group Green Alliance, Monza, bought all shares of Bioenergy Europe Srl, San Giovanni la Punta/IT, which is also active in the pellets trade.

Through this acquisition, Green Alliance is expanding its business activities, especially in Sicily and Calabria, where Bioenergy Europe is the leading pellet trading company.

Green Alliance was only established in late 2024. The company’s shareholders are fuel and pellet traders Woodtech Italia, Bulciago/IT, Interwest (“Pellet My Fire”), Rome, Ricci Pietro, Ravenna/IT, Eco Green Pellet, Milan, and Woodtech France, Saint-Germain-en-Laye/FR, as well as investment company Harcos Capital Partners, Milan. The aim of the merger is primarily to strengthen the competitiveness of the fuel and pellet trading companies. In total, the companies operate 15 production sites and traded a cumulative quantity of around 400,000 tonnes of pellets last year. Sales reportedly totaled approximately €100 million.
