The Weinig Group reports that the goals of “Transformation 2027” that were set last year are supported and endorsed by both employers and employees. The agreement creates a reliable framework to ensure Weinig’s competitiveness, the company states in a press release. “With the collective agreement on job security, we have laid the foundation for a joint and consistent transformation. This measure will enable us to make the remaining German production sites more efficient,” Gregor Baumbusch, CEO of the Weinig Group, comments.
As part of the structural adjustments, production at the Malterdingen/DE site will cease at the end of 2026 and be transferred to existing German production sites of the Weinig Group. The products will remain unchanged. No further information is yet available regarding the future of the Alfeld/DE site.
