Solid structural timber: Output target missed again
Eschelmüller Holz is the new number one in Austria in terms of production volume
In 2025, 2.97 million m³ of solid structural timber were produced in Germany and Austria, as the Holzkurier’s survey shows. This almost the same production volume as in 2024 (-0.5%) – and the second year in a row that the industry in Germany and Austria failed to reach the target output of just over 3 million m³. As for this year, slight growth of 1.5% to 3.01 million m³ is projected.
