First buyers of wood chips and sawdust announce price reductions
The German market for sawmill by-products is “waking up”. Rather unexpectedly, reports are coming in about sales difficulties of sawmills, especially in southern Germany and some regions in central Germany. This is true for both sawdust and wood chips. Due to the pellet boom, the changes that have been reported since mid-February had initially been predicted for March.
