Eurostat data show that Austria remained by far the most important supplier of glulam and CLT, increasing its deliveries by 9% to 501,000 m³. Germany followed in second place with 33,000 m³ (+36%). Italy also purchased substantially bigger volumes from Slovakia (12,000 m³, +162%), Finland (8,000 m³, +51%) and Estonia (5,000 m³, +50%). Glulam and CLT imports from Latvia (12,000 m³; -10%), Romania (6,000 m³; -5%) and Poland (4,000 m³; -42%), on the other hand, decreased year on year. Sweden recorded the biggest relative increase of 1,716%, which brought the total from only 236 m³ in 2024 to 4,000 m³ last year.
