Anti-dumping duties on Chinese hardwood plywood rise to 86.8%

The EU Commission has increased the anti-dumping duties that were imposed on imports of Chinese hardwood plywood on June 6 and have been in force since June 11.

Instead of the provisional 62.4%, the new tariff rate is now 86.8% for all Chinese suppliers with the exception of Pizhou Jiangshan Wood. For this company, the tariff rate was raised from a provisional 25.1% to 43.2%. The new tariffs will take effect on December 7.
