At Ziegler’s insulation board factory in Grafenwöhr/DE, all production lines have been back in operation since Monday, as the law firm Schulze & Braun told the Holzkurier upon request. The plant, which went into operation in 2022, has an annual capacity of 500,000 m³ of pressure-resistant insulation boards, 1.5 million m³ of flexible insulation boards and 20,000 t of blow-in insulation.

At the sawmill in Plößberg, the headquarters of the Ziegler Group, cutting was stopped at the beginning of last week due to the lack of log supply.

The Ziegler Naturenergie’s pellet mill has also been shut down since the beginning of last week, after production had previously been continued without interruption.

The glued timber plant of Ziegler Holztechnik, on the other hand, is not affected by the shutdowns. The Holzkurier was told that “production continues without interruption”.

According to the administrator, the two sawmill subsidiaries in Romania and Sweden are not affected by the insolvency proceedings for the time being. There are currently no plans to file for insolvency in either case.
