In March, the price index of solid wood for pallets rose by 3.4 percentage points month on month and by 4.2 points year on year, reaching a value of 353.1%. As for solid wood for packaging, the price index is at 195.76% in March and is thus up by 2.3 percentage points compared to February. Compared to March 2023, however, the index value decreased by 11.6%.
The price index of plywood for packaging is at 190.32% this month, i.e. 0.2 percentage points lower than in February and 16.2 points below the level recorded in March 2023. An index value of 88.13% is reported for OSB for packaging. This product saw an increase of 1.9% compared to the previous month but a decrease of 27.4% compared to March last year.
