Jansson new managing director of USNR’s European operations

USNR has appointed Björn Jansson as new managing director of the company’s European operations, while Christian Winlöf will become USNR’s new vice-president.

US sawmill supplier USNR has appointed Björn Jansson as new managing director of the company’s European operations. The business economist has held management positions in the timber and manufacturing industries. His former employers include Stora Enso, pulp manufacturer Rottneros of Söderhamn/SE, and Swedish forestry machine manufacturer Eco Log of Söderhamn. For the past seven years, Jansson has been Chief Financial Officer of USNR-Europe. He has served as interim managing director since March 2023.

Christian Winlöf, sales and marketing director, will become the company’s new vice-president. Winlöf attended the sawmill school in Skoghall, Sweden. He has gained experience in international sales during his time at Stora Enso and Söderhamn Eriksson, which was acquired by USNR in 2015.
