Glulam price at around €500

This is something unprecedented at the start of the construction season: Prices of glue-laminated timber, too, were under pressure in April.

In Germany and Italy, prices for glulam in visible quality range from €485 to €530/m³, as you can see in the Datacube chart below. Nearly all manufacturers have already started to work in two shifts only. After three years of constantly increasing demand, overall sales could now fall to the level recorded in 2019.
