Production at Binderholz panel plant to start at the end of the year

Binderholz’s solid wood panel plant II in St. Georgen near Salzburg is to go into operation in late 2022.

Construction started at the beginning of August 2021. According to Binderholz, the company wants to build the world’s most modern and powerful solid wood panel plant in the world.

At the plant, three-layer solid wood panels in the format 5,000 x 1,250 with thicknesses of 12 to 60 mm will be produced. These additional capacities are intended for the European market, as Binderholz states.
