In order to satisfy the demand for big-format cross-laminated timber in France and on international export markets with domestic wood, Schilliger Holz is going to invest in an automated CLT production line in Volgelsheim, as the company announced.

As is the case at the Swiss production site in Haltikon, the new line will ensure the continuous edge gluing of the panels. It will be installed in one of the existing halls and occupy an area of around 5,000 m³. The annual capacity is approximately 50,000 m³ in a two-shift operation. According to the company, the new line will probably be put into operation in January 2024.
