The Ziegler Group announced that a new location has been found for the planned wood-fiber insulation board plant. After this was originally planned in Bärnau, the new location is in the district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab in the Hütten industrial area near Grafenwöhr.

Regarding the background of the change of location, the company states that in the course of the project, through discussions as well as research, a continuously growing demand for sustainable insulation products was perceived. This led to a change in the original plans regarding the capacities. The originally planned production volume of 500,000 m³/year was increased to 2 million m³/year, making the site probably one of the largest production locations for wood fiber insulation worldwide.

As a result, the originally planned site no longer proved to be a suitable solution, but the company nevertheless registered the positive vote in Bärnau and sees great potential at the site for other projects, the company informs.

The project is technically supported by companies as Dieffenbacher, Andritz, Homag, Anthon, Grenzebach and Urbas, among others, who convinced the Ziegler Group with their existing experience as specialists in the field of production and plant engineering.
