In February 2020, German kitchen furniture producers recorded sales worth € 417 million. In January, sales were at € 415 million and thus 0.4% lower. This is according to official data by the Federal Statistical Office Destatis. Office and store furniture producers had € 306 million worth of sales in February and € 285 million in January. This segment thus recorded a 7% month-on-month increase in sales. In the segment other furniture, € 666 million were generated in February, which is 5% more than in January when sales were at € 637 million.

Here you can see, for example, that German kitchen furniture producers recorded € 407 million in sales in February 2019. This shows that in February 2020, sales grew by 3% year on year. For the other segments, the year-on-year comparison is negative. Office and store furniture producers saw their sales fall by 13% from € 353 million in February 2019 to € 306 million in the same month of 2020. The segment other furniture recorded a 4% decrease from € 692 million (February 2019) to € 666 million (February 2020).
