Between January and November, Austria exported about 1.6 million m³ of laminated timber (glulam and CLT). This makes for an export increase of 6% compared to the same period last year. Deliveries going to main customer Italy remained stable totaling 588,000 m³ (+1%) while Germany bought 8% more from its neighbor with a total volume of 359,000 m³.

Laminated timber exports to Switzerland, on the other hand, dropped 11% to 127,000 m³ while sales to France could be boosted by 28% to 121,000 m³. As the largest non-European market, Japan received a total of 112,000 m³ which matches last year's level. The proportionally biggest exports increase was registered for Norway with a plus of 240% amounting to 40,000 m³.
