In light of this development, the German Timber Trade Association (GD Holz) is very satisfied. Construction elements (+8.9%), panel materials (+7.4%) and lumber (+5.5%) also left little to be desired. Only garden timber saw a decrease of 5%. The respondents of GD Holz's intercompany comparison are also optimistic about the upcoming months, the association reports.
