Plywood plant for 100 million euros

On 24 May, the laying of the foundation stone for a new production site took place in the Belarusian city of Smorgon.

The planned site will house the production of plywood with an estimated 100 million euros worth of investments in the project.

On January 5, two new Kronospan subisidiaries were registered: Kronospan FLLC and LLC Ultra Ply. Kronospan NT LLC is said to be responsible for the production of MDF / HDF, laminate flooring, painted HDF and other wood products, whereas the other subsidiary is going to build the plant.
