In the 1Q, Austrian laminated timber exports (glulam, CLT) dropped 3% to 260,000 m³ compared to the same period last year. With a loss of 12% totaling 97,000 m³, main market Italy saw a significant slump. Deliveries to Germany, on the other hand, showed a slight increase (46,000 m³; +2%).

Considerable export increases were observed to France (22,000 m³; +20%), Switzerland (20,000 m³; +11%) and Great Britain (3300 m³; +109%). The relatively biggest increase was achieved to Sweden from 143 m³ to 4500 m³.

The most important non-European market was, once again, Japan with 32,000 m³ (-8%).
