Global DIY sector is gaining momentum

As the Global Home Improvement Report 2017 by Fedyima (European Federation of DIY Manufacturers) indicates, the lion's share of € 484 bn. is yielded by do-it-yourself stores in the US with 57% on the one hand and Europe with 28% on the other hand.

The highest per-capita expenditure of € 899 was spent in US stores. The countries responsible for 82% or € 467 bn. of the global market are, besides the United States, Germany, Japan, Canada, Great Britain, France, Austrialia, and Italy.
